Balcony railings

Balcony Ironwork

Custom balcony ironwork runs around the perimeter of a flat roof above a single-story addition, turning the roof into a usable balcony.

The Need

The roof edge needed a continuous guard on three sides, styled to suit a traditional white house.

Design and Fabrication

  • X-pattern panels set between square posts
  • Posts with decorative caps at regular intervals
  • Continuous top rail around the corners of the roof
  • Dark finish that contrasts with the white trim

Installation

The railing follows the roof perimeter with posts at the corners and between panels, so the guard runs continuously around the balcony.

Result

A balcony railing with a classic pattern that adds usable outdoor space and finishes the roofline.
